Assuming this is true and you were given the opportunity for immortality, would you want it? I don't know if it is something I would choose for myself.

It's not really "immortality" in the sense of a decay slowdown (as lobsters do) through a genetic approach, but a person/ality conservation through technology. In fact it's what "Prof Simon" (from Captain Future) did!

I'd probably go for it; sure if it gets boring you can always end things.
I'm going to take this article with fistfuls of salt, though; things like this tend to end up looking rather silly.
