sounds_sound said he would only participate in kuli's inaugural Hubski book club if I did a dramatic reading of Jamrach's Menagerie. He was joking. I wasn't.

If we all took a chapter we could probably cover an entire book! Perhaps that would be a cool project. Sign up to read the classics: "For Whom The Bell Tolls", as read by Hubski.
-What do you think AnSionnachRua? We could be on to something here... edit: better yet, we should read books that have no audio yet and provide a real service.

It's a valid question, I don't know the answer. My guess is that if we were to pick an author that was "cool", it wouldn't matter. In fact, if everyone picks a book and we truly follow through, I will contact the author and let them know of our intention to do this purely for entertainment purposes and not monetary. If they have any soul, they will be complimented, interested in the outcome and not in any way threatened.

My reading gets more dramatic as it progresses, sometimes I can't help but laugh. I actually really enjoyed acting out the dialog. When I speak Jaffy's moms voice I sound like a Monty Python character.
