I'm notoriously shit at posters so I ain't got that (pictured posters were borrowed from crowd members) but I did rep my 2013 Vagina Monologues cast shirt which says Pussy Gone Rogue. A guy at a cafe wanted a picture with me and idk if I was in on the joke or not but it's cool. I was just happy that Pristina got its act together to have a march at all, even if we got upstaged a bit later by a nationalist protest that I stayed the fuck away from. Also I was wearing a parka but took it off for the bottom pic. No way am I marching in sub zero temps in a t shirt no matter how fly it is lol
My mom wife and daughter are all going to the Portland protest. I hope they will connect with my mom's church and be safe in a large group. More than half my coustomers this morning are going. The media says 30k people are going but I think it will be more than that, I've never seen people so motivated. I suspect the shop will be dead this afternoon.
Apparently "thousands" of people are leaving their signs outside of the Trump Hotel.

It's pretty insane here, because it was snowing so bad in Anchorage that I couldn't see 20 feet in front of me on the highway (whiteout), yet look how many people showed up for the march. I feel terrible for not going: https://www.facebook.com/anchoragepress/videos/1411292478890180/
My mom, aunt, uncle, cousin, and the latter's boyfriend were all in DC. My mom says that one of the metro workers she talked to said that some 600,000 people rode the metro this morning (organizers were quoted in the newspaper as saying that "as many as half a million" came). I'm glad they did.
