I am a little embarassed to confess this, but - I was in my late teens before I realised that I was in fact circumcised; I thought I was not. Laugh if you want, but we didn't have as much freely-available porn back then; also, I knew that circumcision was a 'Jewish thing' (and I was raised Protestant), so I just assumed that the "foreskin" was the entire head of the penis, (because on an uncircumcised penis, the head is usually not visible). I don't remember exactly how I figured out the truth, but I remember it being quite a shock.

As far as I know (and again, I don't know much about USA), chances are high you are circumcised if you're American, no matter your culture/religion. http://www.hcup-us.ahrq.gov/reports/statbriefs/sb45.jsp

It's true. In the US it's just standard practice and most people can't even tell you why.

It should never have been named a circumcision ban. It should have been the "Protect The Children From Genital Mutilation Act."

- The court further suggested waiting until the age of 14 so boys themselves could decide whether to be circumcised.
