If you know my music, you know that it takes all my patience to not fill every second with sound, so leaving that bit bare was hard to do... but I'm glad i did. Oh, absolutely. I'm a big fan of filling space with silence. I am! Maybe one day with others but yeah, just working a cover of a Julien Baker tune. I really ought to take some vocal lessons this year or try and fill out a band but I say that every year...
She's amazing, feel so fortunate to have caught her live a little over a year ago. Working on a cover of Something, have everything down but the bridge at this point.

ok. I was going to wait for you to record, but I think i'll do it sooner. That said, I wanna give you something to build on that fits with how you're hearing stuff. What kind of a feel are you feeling for the drums? should I pull out the upright or the electric bass?
Mm... I'm kinda feeling upright, but I'd trust your instincts more than mine :) So far what I'm thinking is something pretty chill through the first two stanzas, bring it up for the chorusy bit, and then on "All I wanted was a new day" something maybe double time-ish? And then obviously drop back down and match TNG on the outro thing. E: Actually, I might have some unforeseen free time tonight to record. I'll work on that.
