“When I first started, I tried one time to unify a group splintered by whether I was still ‘funky’ or not. That question still goes on, obviously.” — Prince, 2001, on his early experiences with web chat rooms
internet chat rooms personify psychological projection. For all that I've had dished out to me in light of my opinions, and especially considering the individuals in real life I have spoken with concerning this place... Hubski is no different. The constant is the same, prevailing dominance in external measures through formulating internal opinions. Go ahead, tell me to take meds (directed at all of hubskii not just you flagamuffin). Years from now I will peacefully, and respectfully reveal my personal opinions of the social interactions here - though a lot more people than you think have paid attention to this place. For the record, Prince as a person, is a genuine man. His music isn't part of my routine auditory journeys. ps. in mid-september I went off right after the NY bombings in a sort of paranoia. Like I said, there are a lot more people watching this place than you all think. There's a lot more to this world than what you think. Keep sharing what you think, but remember that knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens. Wisdom doesn't just run on what you think, and observations are different than thoughtful projections. Behind a screen, this is nearly impossible to identify.
