I love the tag. What a wonderful home. That great glass wall at the top of the stairway is awesome. The amount of natural light in the "drawing room" must be pretty amazing. The "blind wall" is something that I naturally think I would hate but then, what would be better a translucent, luminescent wall or clear glass windows that showed a banal exterior? It seems he chose to focus on the interior of the home, a powerful decision/statement. But then on the garden side he clearly chose to incorporate the exterior.
What's the date of this? It was reviewed in 1933 but seems to still be relevant. The mark of great work, no? side question: Do you say "fa-sayd" or "fa-cade" for facade?

completed in 1932. we say 'façade' like fuh - sahd. i'm wondering if her way of saying it is british english. did you notice the way she pronounced 'relief'? she gave it three syllables - 'ree-lee-if'. weird.
