I don't think Michael Hayden would have anything interesting to say about the NSA to any journalist, but it looked like he was willing to have an interesting conversation about the problem of users only tolerating so much inconvenience in the name of security before they start undermining your efforts in the name of getting stuff done as it applies to the President, State Department and congresscritters. The interview moved on and left all that hanging in the name of more "no shit, what did you expect the guy who used to run the NSA to say?" questions though.
