Milk has a fairly high protein content, around 4%. A half liter will give you little less than 20 g, making milk a reasonably-priced source for proteins. A fact neglected in the article.
I drink a lot of milk. Whole milk as cream in my coffee, and also in my cereal and oatmeal. Besides that, I mostly drink water. Milk is probably a significant portion of my caloric intake.
We do only drink organic milk though, even though it's crazy expensive. I don't want to nurse from a cow jacked up on antibiotics and steroids.
