No doubt that a nice Cannon with the SDK would absolutely blow anything I can do with my iPhone away.
But as I have gotten older, I've gotten better at recognizing how I will react to different situations. I know that if I were to get a better camera, there is simply a 0% chance that I would take it with me when I left the house more than a couple times. My desire to practice at photography isn't strong enough to carry anything extra around. Sad? Maybe. True? Definitely. So for me, the world of photography is completely comprised of the camera on whatever phone is in my pocket, and whatever software is on that phone or my computer. I actually rather enjoy the limitations. As far as better cameras, I'm going to have to enjoy the great work of those other photographers from afar, because those shots sure won't be coming from me! :)
in terms of applying techniques or getting a fine quality yes but essentially you took a photo which relays a message and has meaning you could have taken that picture on an expensive DLSR and it may not have captured the same moment. I think camera phones a great tool and you can get some nice shots with the right light some things you can do on a phone you cannot recreate on a "proper camera". Limitations encourage creativity couldnt agree more with you.
