Looks like I'm good, I have a piece of maleware called Comcast on my router. Once or twice a year they somehow change my DNS server to their comcastic domain name helper DNS. How they do this I can not tell you, they change the settings of my router that has a password on it. I change it back and go on with my business.

Hasn't happened in about a year after happening about five times. I did some more fiddling, we'll see how that works out. What galls me about the Domain Name Helper Service is that if I type in a bad url it spits out "helpfull" ads that might take me to my destination.
