INTRODUCTION
They call these Books of Shadows - volumes of
collected knowledge grown over each witch's
life. So these pages hold countless riches,
or at least list all their ingredients.
The mortal men who try to crack the spine
of books like these transform into
pigs or donkeys, while the women reduce
to salt columns or fire. It's their design,
to keep the witches' chants for the witches.
The secrets inside would wreak more havoc
than what amounts to a surplus of bacon.
so let those formed to read it reference
these pages. It is more safe to ask a witch for
her help when needed, than barge through her door.
