Glasses of beer!

Being married is great.

I'm killing it at work.

I'm financially stable.

I'm not trapped in my job.

My parents have finally moved into their new house, which is much closer to me.

I have health insurance, so I can finally get my foot looked at. (Ankle injury MONTHS ago, that just won't heal.)

I've started writing again, working on a historical drama based on the founding of Seattle. There are about three episodes written, and I have now nailed down the Season 1 and Season 2 story arcs. So now I know where I need to go, who the characters are, and what actually happened (historically speaking), so I have clear sub-stories to write, and they all stitch together into the bigger story arcs.

I'm really excited about this.

But also nervous, because I was brought in as a story consultant on a friend's writing project. He has since kinda abandoned it, and I am still running with it, and I'm not sure if he's going to be cool with that.

But since he works DPW for Burning Man, I gotta wait to ask him until he gets out of the desert in about 2 months, or so.

Until then, I keep writing...
