A crow just slammed into the glass on this third floor window. We made eye contact. He turned and landed on the rooftop across the way, then flew back at me.
It's a horizonatally sliding window, and the right side was open.
There are no screens on windows here. I quickly closed the window and attempted haiku therapy to calm me down.

I had a bag of bananas hanging outside the window (to discourage indoor fruit flies) - but he didn't seem to be after the bananas.
