-I'm sitting in a TGI Fridays in the Atlanta airport. It's a layover, I was in Knoxville TN today. I flew there for one appointment that lasted 40 minutes.

Lol, my wife is pretty much in charge of my wardrobe too, and she does a damn fine job by my estimation. One less thing for me to deal with. I love it. That said, I buy the Hubski swag. She hates it.

Pointless day at work, Feeling as rough as I look, Finally, I rest. The whole office right now is working on optimizing data calls. I'm good at UI/UX, but complete trash at optimization. I spent all day trying to shave off a few milliseconds from a damn widget that nobody uses. It was like spending 9 hours trying to solve the same rubix cube, but every time you look away, someone switches the stickers on the blocks. I can't grow a beard, so when I forget to shave for a few days, I just look scruffy as hell, and this picture doesn't properly display the size of the bags under my eyes. Overall very dissatisfying. All I want is some sleep, a few days to work on some of my personal hobbies, and hell, I could do with meeting a few more girls than the fucking software department has...

I'm sorry to hear that. Being away from the kids is tough. I had a 7 am flight yesterday and got back after midnight. No kids all day. Still, When I got home, I kissed my daughter on the cheek and she woke up long enough to say "hi daddy," and fell back asleep. That alone is worth not staying in a hotel but traveling late. Good luck with the program. How much longer?

Haha :D. Thanks, but I'm pretty fine (at least mentally). That's actually my normal work, I'm two weeks past exams and this is mainly self-study that is tangentially related to my internship. Again, thanks for kindness and a good word. Be well yourself :).

About a year ago I voiced and produced a sketch for a podcast that a friend was making. The concept is based around tuning into various radio or otherwise electronic broadcasts. It is surreal and varying degrees of darkly comic. For what is was, the podcast ended up getting a good response and received favourable feedback, but nothing else materialised. Last week the guy came back to me with the desire to reignite the project and furthermore to collaborate deeper. So now we're co-writing it together. He also had some feedback from a BBC producer which has helped us shape it into a higher quality production. We've almost completed our second script since starting, so it's going well.
