You'd probably have to leave the couch behind.
Ha! Yeah. I'd miss the hell out of that couch actually. It's like a second bed. I figure, if we were to move somewhere out of the country, we'd pack light. I wouldn't mind selling most of my stuff, books, antiques, car and all. Heck, selling that stuff would just help us bankroll the move. I couldn't let go of the dog though, even with her frito feet. We'd have to find a way to make that work.
There was a time I thought I needed a four bedroom, three bath, three car garage house. Like anything less was just going to be a disappointment. But I've been in my two bedroom, two bath, one parking space condo for ten years, and I only go in the second bedroom to find hiking gear and the second bath to scoop liter boxes. I bet you could find something amazing and small that suits you perfectly. I'd mourn the loss of my records, and my hifi is basically my dream setup, but I could imagine downsizing dramatically. As long as the cats can come with me. My long term hypothetical is just that. Somewhere rural but with access to a bigger city. So not Wyoming, but maybe rural New England.
