This is it:
The 1994 Buick Skylark.
The very first time I saw this car on the road, I was shocked. The wrap-around bumper conjures the image of a amusement park bumper car, and the triangular front, which has the almost-interesting effect of offsetting the front plate, actually works with the headlights and air intake to give the car an anthropomorphic expression of a sad, dim grimace, that perfectly suits the Skylark's totally uninspired design.
I can understand why people in need might buy a used one for transportation, but I cannot for the life of me understand what would have possessed someone (aside from a powerful self-loathing) to drive a new one of these beasts off the lot.
It might sound a bit much, but I really cannot think of an uglier car. Maybe it has to do with growing up in Detroit, but I'm curious, does anyone else have similar strong negative reaction to another car?
