I've started the vides and it's been quite the learning curve. I'm loving it so far :D
It takes discipline to wake up and edit or to go work on it while others are hanging out, but it's been a really fun and creative process. I really feel like i'm learning every day and it's amazing. I would say my biggest weakness right now is sound. The microphone's pretty shoddy on the camera and sometimes I feel like the background noise removal function on the software just makes things worse.
I was scared i'll give up after two days, but I'm really getting into it right now. Hopefully I can keep the enthusiasm going for the rest of the trip!
I go have to thank the Hubski community, somehow knowing this place exists and the constant support from it is great motivation to start something new.
Here's my latest video:
It's really cool to see someone off having an adventure. I really enjoyed your video. One less-than-relevant question, if you don't mind: what country are you from? That accent is unplaceable to me and it's driving me mad.
Awesome! Well done! I didn't think the sound was bad. But even a cheaper external mic could help get exclude background noise. I'm excited to see more. Happy travels!
I enjoy filming and editing too and I find that filming my day pushes me to go out and do interesting things even if I'm a little tired! It might be more work, but it's actually pretty rewarding and I like it better than lounging around so far. I have terrible memory so if I don't take pictures of film, I forget pretty fast ;)
