I really, truly feel that I owe a big part of this small victory to so many of you on Hubski, for helping me understand the commitment, always openly debating and arguing my ideas and motivations, etc.
Off the top of my head, thenewgreen, kleinbl00, necroptosis, the late white, and so many others who have given me advice, criticism, and so on towards applying to West Point.
Wishing everyone here the best of luck in their own goals and objectives, hope to see plenty of great #tellhubskis in the near future next to mine :)
Thanks man, good hearin' from you. I'll hold off on googling that and find out for myself :)
Oh my gosh, I sucked in a mammoth breath when I read this. PABSYY! Way to go baby!!!!
Congrats! I'm dubbing this #makingapoint until you have a better name.hope to see plenty of great #tellhubskis in the near future next to mine :)
steve and galen -- I would so do it. I have a friend who has given me endless invitations to her apartment oh so conveniently located between Grand Central and the Empire State Bldg -- but, look, I've LOST a Hell of a lot of credibility due to my sad no-show in Seattle ... so don't believe a word I say ... but I would totally do it. Even if it means sitting on a MEGABUS for 14 hours ($10 fare, oh yeah) (well sometimes it's $10 - I got a Toronto-DC ticket a few years back for a respectable $18) steve will let us know when he's on his way.
...you're still 3ish hours apart. NY is fuckin' huge. But to the point, congrats pabs, best of luck!
I'm sure WP can lend me a Black Hawk. Nothing says party like a minigun!
Now that I can actually think about what to study at WP, that's interesting. Did you get a chance to look at any other departments, say business or sciences? I was introduced to all their Physics programs while I was there, which looked impressive but I wouldn't know how it compares to other colleges. Any pros and cons in the math program you think would be worth keeping in mind?
No one is surprised. :) Still, congratulations, poobles!
