Description
Usually flashmobs are done in public places, this will be different because it will be online to a site you perhaps use to visit daily years ago - Myspace.
Perhaps you remember Myspace back in 2005-2008, it was very popular back then. Sometimes it's nice to pay homage to those things you once enjoyed, that you perhaps have since moved on from.
If you are young then maybe you have never even been to Myspace, well you can still take part in the flashmob by creating a profile, and updating it there. This will be a trip down memory lane for some, and a new experience for others.
The event will last all day June 8, 2012. You can stay on as long or short a time as you like, and do what you like there.
Things to do: Create or Update Profile Update Status Update Blog Update photos Comment on friends pages Comment on Myspace news pages, it looks pretty lonely there. Since there is no longer a forum we can all converge on the most current news post.
Please note: Myspace Flashmob is not affliated with Myspace in any way. This flashmob's intent is not to hurt Myspace in any way. It's only intent is to help Myspace relive it's former glory for one day.
Join the Facebook, and FB Event for a reminder or Google+ page.
Wouldn't it be interesting if everyone left FB and went back to Myspace? That would be some unprecedented stuff in the social media world. Cynthia, you should create a Hubski Flash Mob for "thoughtful people".
I made this Myspace Flashmob event, because I just thought that it would be funny and cool if everyone got on there for the day. :D You should pay for some advertising for Hubski, or hire some popular bloggers to write about it. I know one guy who might be interested if you want his name let me know.
