You're joking but it's true. You start removing the cringe inducing parts of this romance and you're left with two people fucking just so the plot of three other movies happens. Lucas writing romance is a horrible thing.

The story line between the two is odd at best. She is pretty much hooking up with the toddler she met a few year prior. I know people like to hate on Hayden Christensen's acting, and with good reason, but the worst acting in the entire series is from the droid soldiers in episode 3. Holy crap. If ever you needed evidence that Lucas surrounds himself with "yes" men/women that's it.
