I'm a regular hubskiier, but I don't anticipate this to stay entirely legal so it's time for a, well not a throwaway per se, but an alter.
last night I remembered that I own a house, and in that house there is a basement, and in that basement there is a big blank drywall space which has no purpose. so I gave it purpose by completing a lifelong dream and turning it into my own personal graffiti wall.
I've always liked graffiti. it's colorful and cheap art meant for everyone.
That looks like a lot of fun, I look forward to seeing the work you post under that tag. I'll definitely follow this account too. When I was 17 my parents bought a new home and basically demolished the inside. My dad gave each of us kids a can of spray paint and let us go to town. We destroyed the walls with our art/tags etc. It was a blast. Then, he gave us hammers and sledgehammers and let us demolish the room. I remember that Kurt Cobain had just died and I was full of all sorts of rage. It was a pretty cool thing for my dad to do. I think there are pictures somewhere.
It reminds me how last winter my parents decided to open up the first floor of the house and conveniently left on vacation leaving me home alone with the contractors. We got a bit drunk with some friends and went to town on the wall about to be destroyed with sharpies and a sledgehammer. It make for some funny pictures I sent my mom with my head thought the wall. "Look what I do with the house while you're away mom!" The funny part was when the contractor walked in the next morning and told me that I destroyed the wrong wall. Nice try Sergey, but I know perfectly well which wall to destroy. Fun times :)
I came here from pubski - I hope you'll share your work. You're right about masks. I wanted a red wall in my basement once. I thought it would be a great idea to just use rattle cans instead of renting a sprayer or rolling it on... NOT a good idea. I could barely see in front of me after a can or two. Even with a fan blowing out the window - all it did was wreck the fan and ruin the window. Masks are a good idea.
Wait, what?I don't anticipate this to stay entirely legal
I should have been able to infer that, sorry. Thanks for the 'splainin'. I'd love to launch a paint and plaster campaign myself, but I'm just too damn busy.
