I think that no matter how good it is, Google+ will not gain dominance until enough people are dissatisfied with Facebook. Whether or not that will happen anytime soon is still up in the air as far as I am concerned.

Facebook has a much broader audience than Myspace did, and many of its users aren't very tech-savvy, which could also impede a "great migration". As more people use social networks, the percentage of users who are slow to change goes up. Perhaps we will consequently see a splintering across social networks as user migrate gradually.

I could see FB being a place that people go to to connect to everyone and then people also having a "niche" social network that they belong to like Pinterest etc.
