    I hope the dev made a shit ton when he sold.

The best part is that any market "valuation" of AdBlock plummeted as soon as the deal was brokered, like driving a new car off the dealership lot. If the anonymity was a tactic to deter this, it may end up backfiring when the buyer is revealed to be Satan.

Switching browser extensions is such a quick and easy process, and Ublock (which is just one amongst many other pieces of software) provides an immediately effective replacement.

Whoever bought it doesn't strike me as intelligent, but I've been wrong before.

The kind of person who knows they can block ads is the kind of person who pays attention to internet stuff. Whoever bought this thinking they could slide this by the users without the base noticing is a fucking idiot.
