More than that, having an iPhone means accepting that the device is what it is and if you don't like it, lump it. Fortunately the device does 99% of what its users want it to do. Having an android means that if you want the device to do more than the 65-70% of what you want it to do, you have to enter the black arts of rooting and bootloaders. The Play store is every bit as dysfunctional as the App store without a credit card.
