I am in business class in school right now and we are building an investment portfolio. thestreet.com / market watch.com / .... Are a few I've found myself scanning through. Any recommendations?

seekingalpha.com is great if you want to hear just how unqualified everyone is to actually opine about this stuff.

https://www.portfoliovisualizer.com/backtest-portfolio If you want to backtest. Useful for determining whether or not that stock was good two years ago (you can also do this in Google Sheets).

Marketwatch and their Lazy Portfolios are useful to watch.

I just discovered that opening an account with TD Ameritrade gives you the Thinkorswim platform and $200k in monopoly money to lose, so I'm still trying to wrap my head around that.
