For me it's been It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Can't get enough of it. I've been watching episodes by focusing mostly on just one character even if they are just in the shot and not talking and each of their facial expression and silent remarks, especially deVito's, are hilarious.
Farscape because puppets, sex, and drugs in space. Also, Aeryn Sun is just plain hot, and funny as hell. Fringe because it's so well done for a geeky scifi show, just hits all the right notes, complexity, character development, humor, the whole package And any tv show Joss Whedon has produced, on rotation. Oh, Legend of the Seeker, for some reason. Despite its faults and short two seasons, there's just something about it that pulls me in happily. Despite the evil leather babes having wands that look like dildos. A bit overt, that visual metaphor. I would say Xena, because, well, you know, but I've watched it so many times it'll probably be another year before I can watch again.
I have watched the entirety of Battlestar Gallactica twice. Same thing with Twin Peaks
I've always wanted to watch BG all the way through but never got around to it
The office. I've watched the whole thing several times, although it took me years to watch some episodes - Scott's Tots in particular took me several trys. I love the characters, and the humor is right up my alley. Every time I watch it I notice new little details.
yesss. Arrested Deveelopment is very similar. So many subtle jokes I missed the first or second time through
I don't think of myself as a person who rewatches things often, even though I have a quirk of rewatching the scenes or moments dozens of times if I find them awesome or very funny. Still, so far, I've rewatched the whole Scrubs (excluding the last season; in Russian dub - folks here did an amazing job at dubbing the series, it's the only English-language cinematograph I dared to do this to, because most often the dub quality is offensive), Intelligence (the US series), am rewatching Chuck and avoiding rewatching Person of Interest. The first and the third attract me with their simultanious providence of drama and comedy, and do it well. Intelligence, on the other hand, is a serious mostly-drama story with an emotionally healthy male protagonist, it shows a healthy development of relationships between main characters and it deals with hypertechnology. Too bad the latter lacks scope and depth that Person of Interest provided at times: it would make an amazing show with. Person of Interest impressed me from the first episode on. Even though it lacked at times, it dealt with the subjects well enough to pick me up when I was falling off. One thing that impressed me in particular is how, after four seasons of establishing the character, they've managed to deepen John Reese's story in 4x20 masterfully (I'm a guy who's not in contact with his emotions, but I've felt for John at the moment, which ought to be telling), and how well the episode was made overall (it's the best episode of the show so far, even including the hyped "If-Then-Else"). I'm afraid that I'm going to spoil the image of the show in my head; I'm hoping to preserve it, at least until it finishes. Maybe then, like with Chuck, in a few years, I'll get back to it.
Interns is a show designed for the timeslot for when people get off work and want to relax. Naturally, it includes barely any of the things that will make them think and engage in the plots, much like the Tom & Jerry cartoons. Scrubs, though not very complicated as well, bears depth that I can't discern; it may be that because of it I could relate better to the latter, as well as the better writing. Interns is fine for when you want to spend time stupidly gazing at the screen, but as far as TV shows go, it's not a good series.
I've watched MASH through 5 times now and will watch it again many times probably. Frasier has been watched through a couple times, but this is also a show I use to fall asleep a lot. Also Cheers. Angel, Firefly, Pushing Daisies, Arrested Development, Bob's Burgers, BoJack Horseman. These are just the shows I've seen in their entirety more than twice.
Those are my go-to shows! I've probably watched each episode 5 times. So many incredible lines.
