Nice article! It's worth calling out, the article has an implicit "Depending what you are investing in" attached to the whole thing. 4% is not a magic number, it's 8% returns, -4% you withdraw, -3% for inflation and -1% for fees & wiggle room. So if you are one of those people who signs up with a broker that takes 2% a year, or even 1.5%, you are now putting your entire retirement at risk. In that light it's easy to understand why finding out the fees associated with your account is so important.
