I just joined in the past few days myself. It's nice here, the water's warm! I'm still getting used to the ideas of the site (following people like Twitter is a weird concept when coming off Reddit), but it's definitely a cool take on things. Certainly it's a bit #hipsterski around here (soooo much jazz and indie in the #music tag!), but it's charming and you get exposed to quite a few neat niche topics that would be hard to find other places. Could use more pictures of cats, though :/
