My takeaway from the Stieg Larsson books: there are a lot of racists in Sweden.
In Sweden all of the other parties did the cutest thing ever and aeound Christmas had something called the December agreement which was made to limit neo-facist influences. They basically said "we will do everything to stop fascism, it is what we are fighting for. We are a democracy and we will do everything to keep it that way" So no. Sweden/The nordics being multi party has nothing to do with our right wing issues. We have been dealing with them for a long time.
Steig Larsson worked at Expo which is an organisation against racism. Google it, He was unable to marry the woman he loved, because if he did he would have to state his address - and then she might die. She almost couldn't get any money from his books because of it.
