I'm super happy I got it wrong on the first try. Why? Because my first attempt at solving problems is often to get the wrong answer out of the way! Being wrong meant I now had way more data to work of off than had my first answer been right. My first sequence: 8 4 2 I solved it a bit daftly after that still given that the rule was so simple. I assumed it had to do with increasing numbers but there was more of a pattern than just n+1. Fun fun fun.
I'm sure he wasn't the first to do this, but Veritasium did a video on this with the same exact rules that spoiled this game for me.
I'm not sure if you're joking, but if you guess a few times then type your answer, the website will tell you the rule. The rule is, the numbers must get larger. Not by any set amount, just larger. 1, 2, 3 will work, but so will 1, 20, 300.
