Hmmm, I would not disagree to an extent, but I think you may have picked two poor choices to use in order to prove your point. It's not an unreachable standard to not be a child pornographer or woman drugging rapist. This is not a high moral benchmark.What's wrong with our heroes and role models is Us, really. We hold them to a standard that no one can ever hope to reach, and when they fail to meet it we throw them down from their lofty pedestals.

I was more trying to answer the question of "What happened to our heroes", rather than defend Jared or his employee - I don't exactly think Jared from subway is some great artist.
