Pedophile traffic was shockingly high – magnitudes higher than traffic on the counterfeiting and drug honeypot sites. For instance, after the first five days, the counterfeiting site had 2 registrations while the faux-drug sales site saw six registrations. Both sites saw hundreds of visitors. The pedophile site however, saw several thousand visitors in just five days and brought in over 200 member registrations during its first five days of operation. In addition, the counterfeiting and drug websites saw no additional registrations after five days while the pedophile site continued serving content to over 1,000 visitors each day. By the end of the 14 day test, nearly 700 pedophiles had registered on the website.
That is really disturbing. I didn't see if they mentioned if the information they captured was able to lead to any arrests etc? I agree with the author that pedophiles can destroy lives and need to be stopped. Did they catch anyone?

I hope so

If you read the article you posted and don't jump straight to outrage, you'll note the part that says "He has not been detained, arrested or charged with any crime or offense." and it was a member of his foundation who was found with illegal materials. Spreading rumours like this does nothing of benefit and is very harmful to the image of what may be an innocent and peaceful person. If he is convicted of a crime, that's different, but it's still useless gossip.

Also, if you think about the way online drugs are consumed compared to online porn, it's easy to see why traffic would be much higher for the latter.

could have been is hardly the same as IS.

But your point is taken, Ill omit the mention of Jared. Innocent until proven guilty is an important art of our legal discourse and everyone, even Subway spokesman, should have the right to it.
