This seems very scary. I don't think any of us will be able to play it too well.

That evoked the image of Bob Probert playing Quidditch and smashing one of the Weasley's face in.

Hockeys pretty intense. Originally being a west coast girl I never watched hockey much (although my first kiss was at a Kings game!)
When I moved to NYC and met my (now ex) boyfriend, I was forced to get into hockey. He was from Boston. It is definitely brutal.

My wife grew up in the south and never watched hockey until we met. She's now really in to the sport. She agrees with me that it's the most enjoyable sport to go see. I'm definitely biased in this post. I think all the sports I mentioned are intense and require their players to be "tough" but in hockey the players are blasting a 6 ounce puck of hard rubber at each other while skating atop sharp metal blades and trying to pulverize each other in to the boards. Oh and not only is fighting a part of the game but if you ask most fans, it's appreciated.
Hockey rules.

I love hockey now. It's one of the most fun games to attend, especially in Boston - they go CRAZY! The energy is comparable to a good concert when they fight or score - the entire crowd singing together, etc.
One night when we were drunk we watch the best/worst fights on youtube for about 2 hours. And that video of the goalie who gets his neck sliced with the blade of some guys skate. Really intense.

Ah! Links! I like watching the horrible fights too. The "fails" as they call then on youtube.
