thenewgreen, the new Beck is super neat and upbeat: Good ole' ELO: Half-metal half-indie song that I quite like:
There are historically two Becks. Sea Change Beck and Guero Beck. This does seem like a new third kind. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. But it definitely got my family moving in our living room.
Thanks, we just had a dance party in our living room to the new Beck tune. It's definitely upbeat. Reminds me of Hall and Oats a bit. Thanks for the shout-out!
Oh yea, it's awesome.. I was listening to it a lot for awhile, check out the video for the motherload.. very funny for a metal video..
Bought a ticket to Monster Mash for Halloween night. Tool, Primus, and Coheed & Cambria. Should be a good time. Coheed & Cambria - Key Entity Extraction III: Vic the Butcher
Awesome! I'm not super into that kind of music anymore but I've seen Coheed and Cambria three times and they've consistently put on a great show.
I've had Vince Staples' new album on repeat the last few days: http://www.npr.org/2015/06/21/414701194/first-listen-vince-staples-summertime-06
Alabama Shakes : Shoegaze. Has a real Pavement feel to me.
WARNING: I'm a huge metalhead, so YMMV on what I'm about to post. I fucking love EVERYTHING from Genghis Tron; I found out about them a while back and I haven't stopped listening to them since. Their style of 'electronica-meets-grindcore' is really fucking unique, and I only wish they'd call off their 5-something-year hiatus and put out some new grooves. :/
INTERNET CLUB - WEBINAR "Aural distortions of the company of the 80s that was never founded" is probably a close description. Pretty much all of INTERNET CLUB's music is like this.
