Damn. It is really nice to hear that you have something else lined up. That's an unnerving situation. I think it's important to realize that this is the company's choice, and not to let it feel like a judgement. It sounds like you've got that, but don't forget it.
Sometimes I wonder why we have companies, and why they try to make money and to increase marketshare. What are these entities, and what is their purpose? IMHO I don't think companies are inherently good or bad, but they can definitely be one or the other. And sometimes, they can be completely without purpose, and just exist. What I do know, is that it does matter what companies do and for what reasons they do it. Money, IMHO, is not purpose. Money is what enables you to do things when you have purpose. Good luck, man.
