Really off the top of my head, without reading the entry or the comments:

1. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club

2. Hunky Dory

3. The Number of The Beast

I love the first two picks. I had a bass player in one of my first bands that was a HUGE Iron Maiden fan. His entire basement was full of posters etc. That was ALL he listened to. Whenever we were done rehearsing he put on Iron Maiden. To this day I have a hard time hearing them because of this. I know they are a good band but I just picture Brian the bass player putting on "The Number of The Beast" when all I wanted to hear was Sgt. Pepper or Hunky Dory :-)

But there has to be a reason they're such a beloved band, right? Iron Maiden is still huge outside the US. Are they still big in Brazil?

I think they're still huge here, yeah.

There are, indeed, those who don't listen to anything else. I was a BIG metalhead when younger. One of my first albums was Brave New World. Though I didn't listen only to Maiden, there was a time when I only listened to metal: Angra, Blind Guardian, Dream Evil, Stratovarius, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Accept. Mostly melodic and heavy, none of that black/dark/death metal stuff.

To the non-initiated, it all probably sounded like this. (In an ironic way, I like this song. It's sounds like a parody.)

I still listen to some kinda heavy stuff, mostly from the 70's, like Rainbow and Dio.

Love me some double kick pedals.
