I have no idea how to make a video game but this must be created.
Battle for the Bowieverse
The space-time continuum is in danger or some damn thing and it becomes necessary for every iteration of David Bowie across his career to fight tournament style to save all of reality. Or something. Fighting games need stories I guess.
Young Davy Jones vs. Eyepatch Bowie vs. Goblin King vs. Thin White Duke vs. Guild Sovereign etc. with Ziggy Stardust as the final boss obviously.
Bowie specific stages. Suffragette city. Mars. Labyrinth. A space capsule? (Tiny punches.)
Special moves? Spiders from Mars backup attack. Wham bam thank you ma'am combo. Didn't he have a machine gun in that video with Trent Reznor?
The possibilities are as endless as the legal problems.
Did you know all Icelandic horses resemble David Bowie? Mostly the Goblin King iteration.
I LOVE THIS IDEA! I'm not kidding, I think you ought to find out how it is people story-board video-game ideas and do it. Then pitch it to Bowie Inc. Who knows, maybe it will be popular enough that you can collateralize the intellectual property rights and sell them as 10 year bonds?
personally think this is a million dollar idea!
I couldn't agree more. DO IT tacocat don't just think about it. eightbitsamurai, any advice?
To avoid legal problems you would need to take the path that Broforce took and slightly change the names/portray it as a parody. I would suggest "David Browie," but that doesn't fit Bowie's (magnificent) style at all. Regardless, I think this is a brilliant idea, and now you MUST learn how to make video games in order to see this to fruition. Bowie requires it of you.
At some point, Vanilla Ice has to come and steal the magic bass from Bowie.
This sounds like an awesome game. If a demo ever comes out of this idea, I would definitely be willing to give it a test try.
Oh ... you need 1980's Bowie to tag-team with Mick Jagger.
This performance always makes me happy to see and hear. It's honestly the only version of this song I enjoy. That link of backtoyoujim's on the other hand makes me cringe just at the thought of it. the 1980's were a mess.
