So... I'm conflicted about this. Not the art, the boredpanda part. See, I read about this in Saudi Aramco World, which has a gorgeous 20pp spread of all the art. But none of that made the online edition, which sux. Put it this way: Djerba, Tunisia ended up as the site of arabic graffiti from about 30 countries, and it's all awesome.

Who writes books by hand these days? There were still a few sign writers, I suppose. But calligraphy was always the great Arab art, and suddenly here it is again, painted all over our walls by young men!
