For the record: From 2008 until they were all gone, I beat first jedberg then hueypriest about the head and shoulders for the fact that /r/stormfront was banned but (/r/beatingwomen, r/jailbait, /r/creepshots, /r/whatever) was not. They never even discussed it with me. Reddit doesn't have policies, which accounts for a lot of it. They're deeply reactive. But like most small tech companies with excessive valuation, they'll cowboy it until they get in trouble. That's how somethingawful managed to shut down /r/creepshots in 2 hours while the rest of us failed for a year - somethingawful presented a credible threat.
