I just got the feedback for the the collaborative projection mapping project that I completed at the beginning of this year. Drum roll... 80! To quote the assessment guidelines: Needless to say, I am thrilled. Especially considering the challenges that this project presented and the lack of confidence I had at one point in the process. Of course, big thanks must also go to my collaborator! However, I can't get complacent. The big work begins imminently. Between now and September I am to completed a 40 minute portfolio and a 10,000 - 12,000 word dissertation. These combine to form half of the entire marks for my course, so I best get to work.Work at this level will show an authoritative level of technical and artistic skill and will demonstrate a high degree of exploration and originality of thought. Presentation of the submitted material will reflect utmost professionalism and an awareness of current best practice. The work will be of a standard likely to attract national attention and the student will be able to contextualise it in relation to recent achievement in contemporary music.
