Neat.
There is no future for IC in drag racing. IC will become an niche division for people who fawn over the muscle cars of the past. Electrics have a flat torque curve, no IC engine will beat them off the line. The longer the race the better IC can do but that's not what drag racing is about.
Tesla's are the only cars I fawn over. And I do.
Do they have many in Sweden? I was in Norway last year and I felt like they are EVERYWHERE. I saw far more in the space of a few city blocks than I see all over the city where I live. I wonder if Norway is unique this way, or if other European countries offer similar incentives.
They are every where in Norway since the way tax works out makes them a better choice. Not so much in Sweden. Though there are charging posts nearby where I live.
dude in the challenger embarrassed himself with poor technique. he would have probably lost anyway, but still, poor driving skill there.
So far as I can tell the P85D is a touch faster. I've read that the 0-60 speed of the Tesla is about 3.2, while the Hellcat is about 3.5. Anyway that's splitting hairs for the general public, as no one accelerates at 1g in the real world. The impracticality of both cars is impressive and silly and awesome.
