I recently finished Birth By Sleep and I liked it but I have mixed feelings.

Not that it was a bad game, it was my favorite in the series, actually.

But there are two characters - Terra and Ventus - and their relationship was weirdly similar to how my brother and I used to be, and it was kind of uncomfortable.

My brother and I used to be super close when we were younger. I was the Tails to his Sonic, the Pikachu to his Ash, the Frog to his Chrono, or in this instance, the Ventus to his Terra. We went everywhere together and did everything together and were joined to the hip.

That changed for reasons that I would rather keep private. But I do miss it. It is weird not having any close older male figure in my life - my dad is overseas, my brother is doing God knows what...my sister told me yesterday that she was lucky to have me to give her advice because I was older, and I idly thought how I didn't have the same thing when I was her age. I learned a lot of things on my own.

I dunno. It was weird. I didn't expect to experience feelings playing Kingdom Hearts, but whatever.
