Data security in Hollywood is astonishing. I'll upload shit onto FTP sites sometimes and back up a directory just to see. And what I'll see is the folders for every other project that company is working on. All that takes is some remedial user-level access restrictions.

Yeah it seems pretty dumb but the entire notion of privacy hinges on one simple rule:

If you want something to remain secret do not tell anyone.
