Awesome but $60 to $100 per bed per month is NOT cheap. Hospitals can have hundreds of beds and copper is one of the more expensive metals. Perhaps the design could be altered to minimize the amount of copper necessary to cover the railing.

For poorer hospitals that would equate to an astronomical cost. For first world hospitals I think the cost would be nominal.

Hopefully there will be a way to get the cost down. Perhaps an alloy that has the same properties without the cost.
