I use two "book ends" to stack them up in a large drawer. Nothing fancy and frankly, I don't have enough of them at this point to warrant anything else. My dad has a kick has 45 collection and I hope to thumb through it and borrow some the next time I'm home. Have fun with the new set-up and the new records. That's fun stuff. I need to start spending more time actively listening to my collection as opposed to passively listening when friends are over etc. Late night and with headphones, alone. Tomorrow night I'm listening. We should start hosting Hubski vinyl parties where we all post the album we are going to actively listen to that night and then do it. I digress. Enjoy! sorry I couldn't be of more help. bgood79, any suggestions for how to store 45s?
Are they in sleeves or just loose records? And I'm guessing you're stacking them on their sides as opposed to lying flat? I don't know anything about vinyl, really. But I thought you aren't supposed to keep them out of sleeves or they'll get scratched, and you aren't supposed to stack vertically or they'll get warped. Vinyl listening party sounds like a great idea. I ordered a used copy of Todd Rundgren's Something / Anything and it should be here soon.
They are in sleeves, they are side by side and not stacked. Let me know when that Rundgren album arrives, I'll try and pick something new up too. I've been wanting to pick up some bossa nova but don't know where to start....
No. No time yet. I need to buy my bro in law some records for Xmas this week though, I'll pick something up then. Enjoy that listen.
