I recently purchased a Windows Phone. It's a 3G HTC Trophy, so the blazing speed of the new iPhone 4GS eludes me, but so does the obnoxious size/shape, fanboy culture, and honestly not-all-it's-cracked-up-to-be iPhone user interface. I'm really enjoying it. First Windows product that I've met which is genuinely user-friendly.
lol for years I've seen neckbeards claim that stuff like registry is good because it allows for deep customization. Windows becoming more OS X like is only making it more comprehendible to the ever increasing base of casual users.
The Windows phone I used is quite nice, but I didn't like the scrolling down through items too much on the home screen. That said my phone cost £10 and is terrible to use so I'd swap it for any other phone if I could.
