- "If I would've left, I think that would have been on my conscience for a very long time," says Rowland.
I am constantly pleased by how good people are, it tends to be groups of people and organizations that cause the biggest problems.
I don't know why but this doesn't make me happy. It makes me infuriated. And I can't understand why no one else is. Someone left a lot of people, who were unable to care for themselves, alone. They were written off as expendable on someones expense report, and left to die. Yes, we should be happy that these two did the right thing, and honestly, I'd even call it heroic, in this era of self-interest. But someone should be strung up around a pole and whipped bloody for such a disregard of human life. And that won't happen. Whoever is responsible will face no judgement, and indeed, will probably be lauded for making such a good financial decision.
