The findings of this study are interesting. What strikes me though is the amount of 15 year olds they were able to find that smoked. I first smoked when I was 18, and I thought that was young.
I was expecting "heavy use" to be something stupid like "a joint a week." Nope - "heavy use" is "has smoked more than 50 times by the age of 15." I would have guessed that might be an indicator of poor academic performance even without a longitudinal study to back me up. Thanks for sharing this.
