This makes me so happy to hear. I may be a Keanu apologist, but the fact is the dude can act and I love it when everyone else recognises that too. He doesn't keep getting roles because he sucks.
A shame how they treated 47 Ronin. I loved it. Keanu is one of the good ones in my book. No pretentiousness whatsoever. What you see is what you get. On my way to see Wick now. Will report back when events warrant.
Oh let me know for sure. I'm really tempted to catch a matinee but i'm going out of town on business tomorrow and I have a crapload to do. And yes, I was really disappointed about the resopnse to 47 Ronin. I actually know the writer and saw an early draft of the script that I really loved. Never saw the movie when it came out because it got such poor reviews... I think finally I might go ahead and watch it.
Loved it! Fast paced, well edited and rich characters. Pure action movie with no frills not trying to be something it's not. I'd watch it a dozen times before I suffer again the hot mess Gone Girl was.
